Color is relatively light, but the nose takes little coaxing to jump from the glass with lively, tangy crushed berry scents and loads of gravel and granite dust. It’s pretty full flavored but has nice transparency, with loads of granitic minerality pushing along crisp berry cherry flavors. Quite dry, it feels kind of loose-jointed in a way, with nice acids and a pure, medium length lipsmacking finish.
