Intense dark fruit, blood, and meat. Still grippy and not completely shed of youth. Wish this was opened five years from now.

2006 vintage has loads of dark, black Forrest cherries for days..very specific dark fruit w/ requisite mineral, spices etc. thanks to Greg @ La Cuchara for turning us into this vintage! Decant 45 min and all the complexity comes out. Excellent wine

Calamata olive, black fruit, spice and hints of spearmint framed in an oily texture and super soft tannins that give the wine a loose, effortless feeling.

Upon opening, focused and lifted red fruit with tugging tannins and pronounced acidity. Sous bois. Dried herbs. Almost Burgundian. Opened to muscular blue fruit with fresh violet. Drinks well but would like to revisit down the road to see more well integrated structure and reserved acid.

Super traditional, maybe too much so. Was hoping for more richness. This is definitely a "Rosenthal wine" which is usually a great thing but this cornas needs a bit more gloss

Lots of structure. But it is working itself out now. Ready to drink? Bit only with food.

Delicious earthy savory red wine with plenty of complexity. Smells like olives and tastes like a great idea. My style of wine.

Beautiful aromatics of crushed rocks, grilled meat & charcoal, purple flowers, black & green peppercorns. Fleshed-out after an hour or so in decanter, and the core of ripe red berry fruit emerged on the mid-palate. 30sec+ finish. Real damn good.
