100% Syrah. Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas of dark fruit, smoke and a bit of barnyard funk. (Blows off quickly) Ripe blueberry and blackberry fruit on the palate with notes of mint, baking spices and wood. Beautiful long and earthy finish. Smokey tannins. Quite fruit forward and full bodied, but with a very soft texture. Well balanced. Very pleasant.

Second tasting more in line with what you can expect from a Crozes. Pretty grape wine medium depth but beautiful delicacy on the typical notes of syrah. Charming nose, soft mouth. Great drinkability.

A charming, juicy and greedy Crozes. Red fruits, violet, dry, semi-light body, marked minerality markers. No smoked taste or charcoal; blindly I could have believed a Cabernet-Franc de Loire a little natural. Easy to drink.
