Quite unlike the 2014. Not as beautiful and elegant, but has complexity and density. Dark cherries, smoky, concentrated blueberries and blackberries. With some air, tinge of stems becomes apparent. For a village wine, this can go the distance.

Fairly closed aroma. Very rounded, dark oak and stewed fruit. A winter Vosne-Romanée in a side by side comparison to the Berthaut-Gerbet 2015 village.
