Oct 21st, 2017Dead ringer for Mondeuse on the nose. Very acidic red wine. Most with be surprised by the color/acid profile. This begs for foods with fat or richness. It's an honor to be able to try a grapes resurrection.

Blackberry compote, olive tapenade, white pepper, smoke, wet rocks. Acid forward, light bodied, little to no tannin structure, juicy texture, earthy/smoky finish. Aromas and color usually associated with fuller structured wines, yet drinks like a white. Nice juxtaposition.
