Oct 6th, 2021As it warms and sits, the nose gets richer, with deep ripe pear and apple fruit, and loads of wet, chalky Burgundian earth. It’s very deeply flavored, with concentrated fruit, intense minerality, and good acids. It’s a Maconnais white that is proud of its roots and doesn’t try to pass itself off as one of its haughtier Cote de Beaune relatives.
