Nov 30th, 2017Oh Chenin Blanc how I love thee! This Vouvray reveals a hint of sweetness and lovely orchard fruits with just the right amount of acidity. Delicious right now, I am sure this wine will age gracefully for years. This bottle will be lucky to make it for another hour!

Nov 21st, 2016Golden in color.
Intense nose of diesel, melons, white flowers, wood, honey, grapefruits, white pepper, minerals, spices and herbs.
Full bodied with medium acidity.
Off Dry on the palate, and fruity, with citrus, lemons, honey, apples, melons, butter, wood, nuts, spices and white pepper.
Medium finish with limes.
This French Chenin Blanc is Balanced and smooth with a great mouthfeel and nice complexity. Easy drinking just by itself, I paired it with a Charcuterie board.
I didn't like the nose much, but the palate was wonderful, rich and inviting.
Grapes were grown in clay soils, and were hand picked. Aged in wood barrels.
I had the 2010 vintage, a while ago, and enjoyed it as well. This could age very nicely.
12% alcohol by volume.
