On the nose- floral scents, fresh strawberries, herbs, earth, wet grass. Needs time to open about 30-45 minutes. Then tastes well balanced. On the tongue is more herbs and earth. Not very fruity. It’s elegant and delicate. Wait for it (about an hour) and the wine becomes silky and slightly more fruit will appear with pleasant/medium tannin. I really enjoyed it with home made pizza - red sauce, mozzarella and ricotta cheese with garlic and herb crust that was hand stretched to perfection ;). Oh and amazing home made meatballs. A perfect pairing. I recommend putting your phone down for this meal. It’s worth it!
