Domaine Serene
Jerusalem Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir
Eola - Amity Hills, Willamette Valley, Oregon, USA
Another really great Serene Pinot. A bit more smokey and meaty. Lower elevation = more strength, versus Dundee Hills. Very good.

I really enjoyed this wine. Such an intriguing nose of wet cashmere and cinnamon. Tannins still there but so good! Lots of potential.

Good, but not as good as it should be at its $75 price point. Intense cherry flavor but a little rough around the edges. The nose also has some rough edges. The finish of both the nose and palette is particularly harsh with a strong pepper aroma and flavor. Not as good as other Domaine Serene Pinot Noirs that I have enjoyed more. I expected the tannins to have smoothed out by now, but they haven’t.

Mar 26th, 20232014- slaps you in the nose with a sweet, fruity aroma. Follows with a similar bright fruit taste, cherry, but balanced with a strong earthy body, and a soft peppery finish.
