Bandol Mourvedre Blend

2014 drunk in mid-2024. Tannins softening nicely. Plenty of life left in this. Alcohol hit hard, but didn’t taste unbalanced.

Black cherry, roses, violets, dried herbs, blood. A delicious, savory wine. Good balance, some hard edges and a taste memory of the south of France. Very good.

Still a monster big tannins beautifully big but at the same time delicate and complex -can’t wait for 3 more years for it to come to a new place

Solid wine...especially at $40 retail. It really opens up with a 2 hour decant.

2014 drunk in 2021. Great mix of dark and light; deep fruit with dust and tannin.

Garrigue, black fruit, spice. Love it! I was expecting bigger but I was pleasantly surprised by the restraint.

Dark ink color. Noticeable dark fruit and a firm and gripping structure.

Last nights baby. Surprisingly approachable.

Still quite locked up, tannic and reductive/funky. But good things to come years from now, I suspect.
