New school frame of mind.
The nose had me thrown from the first option.
Decent tannin, tight colour and slightly meaty.

A little reductive at first but after ten minutes revealed a Fresh aromatic nose of plums and minerality. No pepper and very primary at this stage. Promising.

First bottle out the door was exciting stuff. The Syrah grapes have been tamed into a very quaffable juice. Continues to evolve especially with aeration. Ripe Blackberries and sour plums that turn mineral. Good for the price especially

Meaty and earthy. Black currant, black pepper and green olives jump out. Nice acidity and good for the price.
