Hitting its peak. Was more flashy a couple of years ago, finding a lovely, soulful groove now.

On the second day, the tannins have softened a bit and it offers up a Cornas-like bouquet of ash and campfire smoke, camphor and lavender, as well as steeped blackberries and kirsh. The gamier aspects of this wine are more evident on the palate along with olive tapenade a touch of Garrigue, and a handsome streak of minerality on the finish. Much here to love.

Medium to full-bodied, lush, layers of blackberry, blueberry, bozenberry, smoke, pepper, garrigue herbs, and some mineral. Nice now but can cellar 10+ years.
