Domaine Weinbach
Alsace AOC Riesling
A lovely wine with all the compliments of Alsace. 2013 vintage. Dry, Full body, medium+ acidity. Pronounced flavor intensity of stone fruit (apricot skin, yellow peaches) lime blossom with a solid structure and medium finish.

Jul 9th, 2015Second time I try Weinbach. It’s remarkable though not my style. Lots and lots of weight and concentration down to the high intensity medium gold color. Lots of florals, honey note, viscous on the palate with a touch of textural phenolics. The acidity stands up to the texture but doesn’t shine. Would have a hard time calling it Riesling but a really easy time calling it Alsace
