bouquet of roses and fruit cocktail... the mouth brings on almond skins, hazelnuts, and a tiny bit of smokey minerality. less lean than 2014.

We had a stunning Gewürztraminer at Orsay the other night. Thinking of that, we picked up this one which has the classic rose petal nose and lychee flavors. On the honeyed side of the spectrum. The Orsay delivered more acidity which I prefer.

Perfect example of gewurz. Slightly off dry, good acidity, jasmine, peach, lychee, minerality.

Starts off very rose water in the nose but is beautifully balanced on the palate. Hint of sweetness, spice, with a bright minerality and floral notes
