Excellent cut and clarity. Good depth and minerality. Very long. Kept getting better and better. Informal notes at dinner.

Pale Gold. Honey and minerality with a trace of oyster shell. Crystal clear. Gorgeous wine drinking at its peak. Drink now or cellar for a year or two more.

Yellow gold, nice weight and color. Sweet floral nose. Notes of sweet kiwi, lime blossoms, river stone, fresh cut flowers. Good fruit and acidity in the mouth. This is about where it should be at this age. While this is a nicely made wine, it comes across as not not very exciting and more California like rather then from a Les Clos plot in Chablis. Consistent with when I last had this a few years back.

Sadly, a bit tired and would have been better 4 years ago.

Lt gold, straw color. Piercing nose of pit fruit, lemon, white flowers and stone. Rich and glycerol in the mouth. Good mouth feel. Med+ finish. With air this became more fruit forward and showed heaviness.

2005 William Fevre Les Clos chablis.

I had a great write up but Delectable ate it. Here's the abbreviated version: nose of green apple and pear and papaya, beautiful finish, worth the money.

Slate and lime but with some mineral firework action.
Palate has a full on sappy mineral character with some smoky white fruit, quite hot

Bitter finish, hints of petrol, buttered popcorn on nose

Was cheesy/funky open opening, but after a decant it blossomed beautifully with bright oyster shell minerality and yellow pear skins.

First bottle had a little nutty oxidation going on with is (still drank well), but this one showed great. Flinty and lively acids, just tons of lemon zest. Still years to go
