Aug 19th, 2018Blackberries, raspberries, cherries and a little dry strawberry. Lots of vanilla and oak, and a little orange peel. Good balance of acidity and tannins. Very good value, too. I had this with roasted halibut and mushrooms, roasted potatoes, and then strawberries with a little cream and vanilla. Don’t be afraid to pair red wine with food out of the usual envelope.
