Heady nose with graphite, smoke, and cherry. On the palette the red fruits chime in with a hint of mintiness. At ten years this wine still has legs. The Mariner is a testament to what meritage is in Dry Creek.

Some nice restraint for a vintage flush with those without. Flinty stone, black currant, clove, and cedar. Well balanced integration of tannin, acidity and oak. Should drink well for another decade.

This is my ALL TIME favorite wine. Hands down. A regular bottle runs about 52, which isn't bad for such a great blend
