Solid #drycreekvalley California red blend, a bit oakier than I remember from the first bottle I had in this vintage. It was overshadowed by the earlier much better Cab. — 8 years ago
Blackberry, pomegranate & cedar nose. Vibrant deep purple color on this very youthful wine. This 2013 Cab has nice medium tannins, full body with a smooth finish. #arafanelli #drycreekvalley #healdsburg #cabernetsauvignon — 8 years ago
Variation fr/last week's bottle , this one is v good w/leather, olive tapenade, sage, cocoa powder, blackberry, cassis @quiviravineyard #drycreekvalley #deedubcellar — 7 years ago
Dark fruit makes your olfactory senses dance as you approach the plate and open this bottle. The layers of complexity are astounding. Cherry and leather are up as you round first base, but you continue in the glory with second and third base easily with black cherry and blackberry while this wine mandates you round third and head home with the toasted vanilla. This 2013 Winemaker's Handprint Merlot is a home run people! I mean the ball is hit out of the park and still hasn't hit the ground grand slam! The wine is a blend of two vineyards, one each from #alexandervalley #drycreekvalley . — 8 years ago

I’ve visited this lovely #drycreekvalley #zinfandel boutique producer in November of 2019. Usually I steer clear of heavily extracted, hot wines like this but it works so nicely here - a plush wave of plum and blackberry compote laced with baking spices and pepper, smoky undertones, bitter dark chocolate, but finishing with generous acidity. It’s definitely hot at 15.4% ABV but it’s delivered in a velvety tannic luscious mouthfeel package. — 4 years ago
