White peach, apricot and candied ginger flavors turn to creamy vanilla and clove. Wave upon wave of honeyed fruits; then a tightly-coiled finish as nervy acidity kicks in. Taut, structured back end. Drink now to 2016.
Heintz vineyard. Hand-harvested and sorted. Native alcoholic and malolactic fermentations. Aged 15 months in 50% new French oak. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. Released June 2011.
