E. Fuligni (Cottimelli)
Fuligni Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese
Nice dark tawny color, almost opaque. Notes of black cherry, dried brush, some iron and some old wood. Nice mouth feel with fruit still present but slightly faded, matched with solid acidity and structure. Needed food as a compliment (homemade pasta and sauce) to show its best.

Jan 21st, 2021Tawny and murky. Nice scents in the nose. Notes of black cherry, violets, smoked meat and herbs. Great balance in the mouth. At peak and drinking well.
