Nose is red fruit, cedar, and oak with a hint of clove and cinnamon. Mulled fruit predominates on the palate accented by cedar, leather, and tobacco. Medium bodied and balanced with moderate acid and chewy tannins in the finish. Not as flashy as better vintages, but solid and drinking well now.
