'09 vintage. Luscious. I prefer the regular condrieu than the Doriane. Use of oak is too present for my taste. Wine is a beauty, really well crafted, opulent and generous.

Well. It's really well crafted, you definitely feel that the Guigal's have a magic touch. Although a grand wine, it is really not my kind of Condrieu. I am more a George Vernay fan and this Doriane is way too massive, too muscular and intense. Literally, I had the impression of eating a tarte Tatin or a baked apple with cinnamon.
Again, I can understand some rave about it but I personally will not buy it again.

2009 vintage. Medium gold - radiant. Ripe stone fruits, creamy, spicey, biscuit notes - medium plus intensity. Full bodied, medium minus acidity, oily texture, medium plus alcohol and long finish with a bitter almond finish. Very balanced and appealing - classy. Very good.
