Blackberry, cassis, vanilla, raspberry, eucalyptus, licorice and oak. Great structure and well-integrated tannins.

Beautifully aged red wine. Smooth acid, subdued nose, long finish. Paired wonderfully with homemade margarita pizza.

I’ve had multiple vintages of this wine ranging from 10 years back to 4 years. 6 year old ‘14. Napa dust, raspberry, blackberry on the nose. Clay minerality, raspberry, strawberry on the tongue. Definitely has some life left. Tannins are still really noticeable but some of the fruit is waning. I think this would be perfect in a year or two.

On pop & pour, nose had lots of dark fruit - plum, blackberry leaves, sun heated bark. Heavy on the forward part of the palate, tannins, earth, plum skins, sour cherries. Lingering finish on the mid palate. It has the "dusty" character I expect of merlot. Nice wine.
