Enjoyed with family. The age on it enhanced the wine beautifully. Tannins were very soft and the fruit mature but still very present. Wanted to savour as it was the last of my Shae vineyards wines in my cellar. It did not disappoint. Noted I drank my 2009 in 2020 and it was past its prime, three years later the 2010 was perfect. — 9 months ago
Drank Dec 2022. Still felt young to me. — a year ago
It has lost all fruit on nose and palate. I waited to long to drink it. Just left with acid and tannins — 3 months ago
This wine was beautiful. Had it with the first if the season stews and the pairing was spot on. With 14 years of aging it still showed lots of fruit but the finish was smooth, velvety and copasetic. Wish all my wines had this finish! — 7 months ago
So smooth, balanced even though high alcohol. Paired well with beef roast. Very strong black fruit with earthy tones. Refined and structured with beautiful finish. — a year ago
Drank this 2020 vintage way too soon. But I am not sure of its merits anyway. There was no nose (smelt barnyardy) and the finish was metallic. Saved it to try the second day and it was a little better paired with Neapolitan pizza. Will give it another 5 years before trying again. — 7 months ago
Beautiful creamy yellow, but lacking in nose and acid for my Riesling liking. Drank in 2023 — a year ago
J.. Bookwalter Chardonnay - blended with Viognier. Did not like this wine. No oak at all, over powering pear, no finish. — a year ago

Drank it with my Mom on her 82nd birthday. It has aged beautifully. The cork broke but we decanted and let air for two hours. Mild fruit but balanced acid and tannin expression was soft. Finish was medium and velvety. — 15 days ago
