I was expecting to totally hate this but I didn’t. Yes it’s very extracted and sweet and oaky but very well balanced and there’s some interesting brambly / pine stuff going on in the background along with the chocolatey raisinated fruit and creme de cassis. Sort of like a Christmas fruitcake

Nez chocolat prune lacté
Bouche suave ample gourmande sur la prune et la mûre fraîche dense belle acidité équilibrant la maturité
Finale sur la mûre et une note de cerise amarena
Légèrement amertume chocolaté
Très beau vin mais il faut aimer la maturité grande jeunesse
