One of the best Pepe wines I've ever had. Drinking like a beautiful grand cru burg with its own special sense of place. This is one of the best wines in the world. #sommselect

So happy to find this incredible bottle in ship-shape condition. Bravo to Jarred Roth at Riverpark for continuing to offer great old wines at great prices. Loved every sip and wished there was more in the bottle. Raisin toast, black cherry, carob, violet candy, hazelnut. In great shape, drinking tonight for sure. Traditional wine rules.

Recorked suck compared to original ones. For gods sake, change this practice Pepe family.

Released in 2013. This is still so young and forward, I can barely understand. Sure, I suppose there was development here, but I keep chasing these wines backwards in time, and they never seem to reach that place that my vinous instincts suggest they're headed. I mean, this was really tasty - maybe my expectations are the problem...

Wow, gotta love old Pepe, this is so ethereal, beautiful high toned dried red berry/red florals, still great structure, lovely wine.

The non recorked versions of this wine are far superior to the recorked ones of which this was one. Still good and far better then 1985 recorked.
