Crazy fun. Baby's first Rhone Syrah. Meaty, jerky, salty. Awesome, awesome earthiness. Great acid, decent length. A little poopiness, which I love. It's hard to describe how much fun this is for me personally to drink.
I just opened this and tried it right after finishing a glass of an over-oaked Tempranillo. TOTALLY different wines. Wow. I love wine.
I'll probably overrate it because of ignorance, FYI. Beautiful.
Day 2: nose is still awesome. Palate took a decent hit though. Fruit has disappeared and a loss of roundness and lushness.
