Had this wine with a Pheasant dish tonight and it really went nice with it. A good run of the mill wine, ideal mid week but not for the weekend treat!

A hint of black cherry on the nose but it's all about the red fruit in the taste. Juicy, nice balance, spicy which gives the impression of some heat. Light smooth tannins, easy drinking & pleasant. Good to drink on its own. Not a wow wine for a special occasion.
