Continuing with my summer of exploring whites. FRESH and tangy. Grapefruit and lemon zest. Nice acidity, but well balanced and some depth. Not anything like my preconceived notions of what a Chardonnay should be. Just wonderful.

Great recommendation from the local wine shop! Light gold color. Vibrant nose. Nice balance between cream and tartness. Elements of pineapple, butter, and perfume. I really enjoyed this! Very similar to the Santenay I love!

KWN - first ever white burgundy theme! All bagged and blind as usual.
Wine 2. Cream with a little hint of must on the nose. Creamy, fuller bodied, more acidic than #1, with toasted almond notes. My contribution. Solid choice.
