2005. Pure and powerful. No ox. Long flavours, brûlée and peach, toasty hints. Good balance still. Fantastic.

Oct 4th, 2016Wow. Just starting to pick up the savory. A-typical exotic citrus notes (tangerine, blood orange) are joined by more classic notes of Meyer lemon custard, ripe yellow pear, pristine yellow apple, yellow and white flower, sesame cracker, button mushroom, mint, allspice, cinnamon stick, fluff. Really impressive, and as long as it doesn't go to the Pox, many years in front of it. Great restraint on the power and masterful dialing in on the oak.

Jan 4th, 2015What balance of fruit and body. Young but showing well. Tart citrus fruits with an undercurrent of tropical fruit flavors building to a round aromatics and mid-palate profile. Worth the aromatics alone. Finish is strong, long, crisp. Definite winner; wish I had more than 1 more in the cellar. Winner!
