I always love wines from the Fiddlestix Vineyard. This seems like the softest and most accessible version I’ve ever had. Nose shows loads of moist humus and loam, a milk chocolate (surprising!), a slowly wilting green herbal thing, crushed rock, and dark cherry. Rich and very soft in the mouth, the acids are a little on the low side. It gives a lot of flavor, but lacks the complexity and tension I’d like to see. (Later update: I now see the alcohol listed on the back label is 14.8! . . . for a PN from SRH! Yikes! That explains a lot.)
