A very nice wine! Ruby with aromas of berry fruits and sweet herb notes. On the palate cherry, plum and dried fruits with tobacco and cola notes, well balanced on firm but approachable tannins still tightly wound, oak notes. Long finish ending with mineral and earthy notes. Opened after a decant but let this age a few more years, tried twice in last 6 months. Very nice!

Very little smell. Dark taste. Like a dark blackberry. Newer wine for the Tuscan region. About 1860s. My favorite wine in a Florence wine flight.
