Either a slightly off bottle or just an awkward phase. Muted cherry and tobacco leaf. Cocoa. Shoulda been awesome but just wasn’t.

The two bottles of Barbi Brunello di Montalcino I brought home from Italy. A 2004 Riserva and a 2006 single vineyard. Both need to age.
