Fragrant plums with a hint of sherry and oak. The sherry continues on the palet and then moves to limestone. Slightly bold and yet smooth on the finish. Garnet in color with some purple hues. A compliment to Asiago cheese, Italian pepperoni, Sicilian green olives and Italian sweet pickles…

Another lovely btl. Stewed tomatoes, blood orange and black fruit...building in intensity. On the palate: red-wine braised tomato sauce, red fruit slurry and soft tannin on the juicy finish. Not complicated, but this just feels so warm and enrapturing...like home.

If there was such a thing as Black Cherry NyQuil, that was aged in a worn leather bag, this would be it.

Very good for a $16 Chianti Classico. Pnp and drank with chicken parmesan and spaghetti. Perfect pairing. Still young and could use some more time.
