Garde Manger Columbia Valley Syrah

Give these folks an award. A smooth and neutral Syrah at a great price. I can see this as a staple for dinner parties as most people would find it delicious with most food (it was a hit 2/2 for me).

A nice Syrah to come back to - bright, sophisticated, real. Fausse Piste rarely disappoints, Rhone style wines coming out of an urban winery in east Portland. Seek them out when in town, ask for Jessie if you're serious about this style of wine. So good!

Sometimes it is hard to separate anticipation from experience, but for whatever reason, I really connected with this wine tonight. It had just enough fruit, weight, and acidity to make it delicious and it was deft enough on the palate to keep me wanting more. I like this producer and I would absolutely drink this again!

Have loved this wine in the past for its brambly, feral beauty. This vintage is so much nail polish until about 10 minutes in. Cassis, crunch after that.

Not sure. Was warned that it is super gamey. Better with the BBQ ribs.
