Really nice structure, spice, fig, some oak showing but not a distraction, young powerful wine that needs a couple more years.

What a wonderful expression of the Combsville vineyard and Andy Erickson’s mastery of wine making. A nicely balance Cabernet on the front with a treasure trove of chocolate on the backend to complement the bouquet on the nose. This 07 is defined nite at a sweet spot for opening now.

Drinking some Cali Cabs to get meself pumped for an upcoming sortie to Napa. Glad I pulled this btl because the cork had an ever so slight seepage issue. No issue with the wine though as this is hitting on all cylinders.
