Concentrated and hugely structured, this is built like a bulldozer. Purity is key with toast oak framing the ripe black cherries and currant flavors, adding dark chocolate and spices on the daring finish. Big thing, but balanced.

Ripe and bold, verging on decadent, yet in this vintage it remains greatly balanced. Spicy and loaded with dark berries and sweet oak toastiness, it still manages gracefully to add mineral additions and sincerity on the still fruity and enveloping finish.

Big nose of black fruit and licorice. Super strong wine, on the open still very tight. An hour later opening up, fruit still very present, black cherry, cassis, blackberry, toasted oak. Super structured. Could go another 15 years easy.
