Bannockburn Pinot Noir

Dark cherries in the salad meet dark cherries.

If you love mid & dark, ripe fruits, spice, soft dry earth-dry gravel & stone, pronounced limestone, soft, fresh tobacco and cool climate acidity for days, spend $60-$65 on a Block 3 or 5 Pinot Noir. So good.

Both lettuces picked hours ago from my garden.

Fruity all the way, a New Zealand classic Pinot

Nice black fruits med- bodied little low on acidity floral leather slight oak

Day 3 is social distancing. Delicate red fruit with spice undertones

Quite light garnet wide terracotta , garnet rim. Quite a lot of dry spice , nutmeg , star anis , red cherry, raspberry , red currant , earthy hints . After a while a bit more leafy , smoky on the nose. On the palate this is quite light and direct in style , raspberry , red cherry and those earthy , granite touches . This has fresh acidity and fine , light tannins . Reasonable earthy , spiced finish . Certainly ready and on this showing will probably last ok another 5 or so years. Not the most complex , overall I found it a little pedestrian, but still showing ok , but no need to wait any longer , I don’t see this improving .

Austere and held back, almost brittle dry red berries relaxed a little

16/20 (88/100) Вишнёвый, немного конфетный вишнёвый аромат. Свежая кислотность, умеренная танинность, немного выпирает алкоголь. Крепкий средний уровень новосветского пино.
