Tried the ‘17 offering. Not any better tha ‘’16 or ‘15. Straw color with aromas of tropical fruits and sweet spice. On the palate peach and melon flavors with very strong vanilla oak tones. Medium finish ending with sweet notes, a little to sweet and too much oak for a CA Chardonnay. Pass. Tasting Sample.

Very buttery up front, giving way to oak after about a second. Fair bit too sweet and heavy-handed for my tastes, it's a Chardonnay+P, to make the comparison.
