Deep inky in color with a purplish rim.
Fruity nose of blackberries, figs, currants, sweet cherries, smoke, leather, oak, vanilla, licorice, mint, eucalyptus, spices, light alcohol and black pepper.
Medium to full bodied with medium acidity and nice legs.
Fruity and dry on the palate with blackberries, blueberries, plums, cherries, currants, licorice, oak, leather, pencil lead, earth, vegetables and peppercorn.
Long finish with soft tannins and black pepper.
A nice Sonoma County, Petite Sirah. Good right out of the bottle. Nice and balanced and enjoyable by itself or with food.
It's also a screw top, so you can take it anywhere (like the beach).
13.9% alcohol by volume.
