Viognier from the Languedoc. Dark straw color. Aromas of perfume, melon, apricot, creme brûlée and honey. (Not as floral as I would have expected.) Lemon, grapefruit fresh herbs and some dried tropical fruit notes on the pallet. Hint of cream on the long finish. (Lees aging?) Nice viscous texture and well balanced acidity. A bit of heft and round mouthfeel. Thank You for sharing, Ron B! Revisited in October 2025. Showing its age.
