With an hour of air it matured nicely paired with pork. As they say if you don’t know Foxen you don’t know Dick. Love his wine (he’s golf needs work)!

Seductive nose of blackberry, black cherry, and spice. Smooth and savory on the palate with that Sta. Rita bramble quality. Restrained at 13.4% alc.

Good — a tad sour though.

Classic Santa Rita Hills Pinot through and through. Nose is instantly enticing, with cranberries, rose petals and crackling firewood. Spice, tartness and tannins are well-balanced. Not Foxen’s best wine but probably the best bang for your buck.

Interesting blend of 2/3 John Sebastiano vineyard and 1/3 La Encantada. Sassafras, mulberry with darker more brooding fruit and intense spice. A great value.
