Tasting notes from the Fort Worth Food & Wine Festival... Closest zin to Jessup Cellars as I've come across and in my book, that's a high compliment. Fruit bomb.

A robust well made Zinfandel, a blend of 79% Zinfandel, 18% Petit Syrah, 3%CS, deep red color, aromas of black cherries, cloves, sweet spices, vanilla and black plums, full body with round tannins and nice acidity, round and flattering with a long sweet finish (14.6% Alcohol). My score 88, drink to 2020

Vera good. #floral characteristics #blueberry and #clove well made and elegant. It's definitely enjoyable by itself. It's a wine to sip and enjoy. True #varietal#zin character

Great tonight with cheeseburgers. Good concentration, not overly extracted. Alcohol relatively well integrated. Silky mouthfeel and bright fruit flavors. Gentle acid, soft tannins.
