Frei Brothers
Sonoma Reserve Russian River Valley Chardonnay
Pale lemon with aromas of stone and tropical fruits and toasty notes. On the palate flavors of ripe peach and melon with notes of citrus and cedar. Medium+ finish, lively acidity ending with fruit and mineral character. Just Ok!

Feb 17th, 2022Drank 3/15/21. Paired with Chicken Picatta.
Subtle scents of lemon candy, and orchard fruit. Flavors also quite mild, with green apple, and a bit of citrus. Clean with a quicker finish. Overall a good food wine, but would recommend a higher acidity wine for this dish.

2019 Vintage has light slightly fruity taste. Citrus and lemon, not buttery enough for my taste in Chardonnay. Served with macaroni, ham and cheese casserole, so it was fine for a casual meal. Not our favorite.
