Haven't had Frog's Leap in years, this bottle brought me right back to the classic dusty Rutherford cabs that I loved 15-20 years ago. Balanced and great with a steak, and by itself afterwards, while finishing the bottle (only 13.5 ABV--drinkable, imagine that).

Oh that "Rutherford dust". Old world style, balance, restraint, respect for terroir. Not an overripe, over-extracted Napa fruit bomb. Opened up beautifully over the course of the meal, can only imagine how great it will be in a few years.

2012 - by the glass! Broad & flavorful - a great buy in Las Vegas for BTG. - Unknown barstool guy & I wiped out a whole bottle. It was an ad-hoc replacement for a Paso CS. Their out of stock was our gain!
