Difficult beginning but after 30 minutes the wine was back!! Some harder tannins, a lot of concentrations in aromas, intense!!

Second attempt to taste 50yo Barbaresco. This one was alive. Well, there was present acidity and somewhat similar to tannic structure. No grape variety character. Way over the hill.
I blame poor cellaring. Cork was elevated.
However '69 was a poor vintage too.
