Beautiful wine. A Barolo on the modern side, with a very well crafted, silky palate. Tannins are strong in this 07 and are fantastically integrated. Long, warm palate, tar, spices and licorice. I absolutely loved it. Long and long and long. A beauty #italy #barolo #gaja

Very young and tightly wound, but has awesome potential. The warm vintage is showing as much in this wine.

Killer Wine Night. Lineup of 17 wines. Tasted blind. Theme was Old World Killer “B” (the letter “B” has to be the first letter in one of the proper nouns in the wine e.g., region, varietal, type, winery name, etc.)
Wine 5. Lighter bodied with caramel and a lot of tar. Slightly pruney. Bad bottle?

Classic nebbiolo nose with added herbal action. Comes off as cool and a bit thin at first but improves over time. Solid balance between herbs and fruit.

Young but already a true barolo. Roses fruits nice acids. Subtille bitters.
