1986 vintage. Double magnum. At Gaja winery. Deep ruby hue. On the nose, medium plus concentration of slightly under ripe stalky black fruits. Blackcurrant. On the palate, medium acidity, medium plus body and alcohol, high tannin - grippy. Medium finish - astringent. Not my favourite wine of the night for sure. Drink now - unlikely to improve.
