Oily texture and an interesting blend of 90% chardonnay and 10% Sauvignon Blanc. The meld between these grapes is a little clunky but I see where this is headed. Lemon curd, orange oil, with little flecks of pineapple rind. Rare find for me.

17’ Gaja Rossi -Bass 90% Chardonnay rest SB. Citrus(Believe it) punches you in the nose with yellow apple. Palate- Skin of nectarines, Mango – lemon mix. Nice depth. Fresh lingering acidity.
Paired wonderfully with baked salmon & roasted pinenuts. Must say not too bad with day old Chinese food. Cheers.

It was okay. Not doing it for me this time around. Not much zip. Citrus notes usually abounding were not noticeable. Still pleasant but quite muted and a tad bitter.
