Sorì San Lorenzo Langhe Nebbiolo

I admit it. I’m not a fan of Nebbiolo and my friend brought this as a special treat. It’s... good. For me it doesn’t hit that ethereal plateau it seems to for others. Enjoy.

Lovely supple fruit. Sour cherry, strawberry, leather and tobacco. Lovely plush middle and good length.

Stunner!! Dried strawberry, asphalt, cardamom, a piercing, electric quality on the nose. Talcum tannins, vivid freshness, savory (autumnal) finish. Nebbyolo4eva

One of my favs

Finally began to open up after 90 mins. So much promise if you give it some time.

Lets just put it this way, I ordered two bottles from Delectable right after I took the picture.

I should never ever had this bottle open.
I killed a genius in the making.
3 hours after, it was just starting to grow.
My recommendation: forget it for a decade at least. It's a mistake to drink this wine now.

Young and fruit forward. Need time to develop.

A plump soft nose with lovely fruit, hints of herb. Very plush and soft. Maybe a whiff of black olive. On the palate (this wine is quite warm) this is very lush and quite ripe but pure. A nice tart/sour element in the finish which is long. Some time ahead but very rounded and approachable now.
